Senior Unity Developer

We are CM Games, an independent game developer. The company was founded in 2010 and is based in Tallinn. We created a new genre of mobile games and became a globally recognized studio. More than 400 million players have already discovered games published by Creative Mobile. Our mission is to give them an enjoyable experience and be home to world-class talent.

We are looking for a Senior Unity Developer in our R&D Team. The team deals with prototyping for different platforms and VR projects development. Our portfolio includes a survival shooter in an open world full of surreal landscapes and dangerous anomalies, a 3D puzzle with unique characters, as well as bright and spectacular races.

We offer to work on the premium races for virtual reality – Nitro Nation VR, which we're now actively preparing for release in Early Access.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• designing, developing and soft launching project Nitro Nation VR (Desktop / Oculus Quest 2) on Unity;

• working together with designers on prototypes;

• creating soft launch versions solo or as part of a group of two or three developers;

• developing Unity-based tools for designers, artists, and other team members;

• working closely with designers, artists, etc.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• proficiency in Unity and the main subsystems to the point of being able to develop a game project from prototype to soft launch, as a sole developer;

• experience with algorithms, data structures, complexity assessment and optimization;

• design skills of game application architecture according to the project development stage (prototype, soft launch, soft launch iteration);

• rapid prototyping skills;

• strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues from related fields.

What is important for us in a person?

• professional interest in VR and willingness to gain expertise in this area;

• experience in prototyping and having a pet-project;

• self-reliance and proactiveness;

• CI/CD expertise;

• interest in design or other related field;

• readiness to deal with tasks related to Unreal Engine when necessary;

• experience in C++ development;

• interest in midcore and action, racing, puzzle game categories.
