For our brave tribe MATABOO we are looking for a talented Animation Conjuress/Conjurer (Technical Animator) to join our new project. Your quest will be to bring our characters and world to life in UE5. If you are passionate about implementing the latest Unreal Engine 5 technology trends and working with others to develop the best experience for a new IP, come and join our tribe!
We are a young developers' studio established by industry veterans and powered by very experienced and perfectly harmonized individuals. Our team has worked or works on such console and PC projects as: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Gotham Knights, Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments, Chernobylite, Green Hell, The Medium, Blair Witch, Ultra Street Fighter IV, Resident Evil 4 and 6, Mortal Kombat X, Injustice 2, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, Dark Souls: Remastered and Bee Simulator.

What are you working on?
- The name of the project(s): New project in the R&D phase, being developed on UE5 for a new IP.
- Platforms: PC, Console
For which tasks (responsibilities)?
Work closely with programmers and artists on animation-based game features.
Create and maintain game characters’ rigs and skins.
Create and maintain animation state machines.
Improve existing content creation tools and pipelines.
Write and maintain documentation, where applicable, and test new tools.
Making the bridge and sync up between the different teams involved.
What kind of professional are we looking for?
Knowledgeable of Unreal Engine 4 or Unreal Engine 5 character creation and animation pipelines.
Familiarity with Sequencer UE.
Solid understanding of Character deformation techniques and dynamics. Be it cloth, bones, blend shapes, or displacement maps.
Familiarity with mocap and keyframe animations.
Good command of the English language.
Additional advantages will be:
Familiarity with motion matching or other advanced locomotion systems.

What are the conditions and bonuses?
Salary depending on experience 10 000 PLN - 14 000 PLN net + VAT (B2B contract, approx. 2000-3000 EUR).
Both B2B and employment contract are possible.
