Vizor Games is looking for a Localization Manager to work on a next-gen melee fighting game with dynamic PvP battles developed on Unreal Engine. We're looking for a strong candidate who's ready to take on the challenge of managing everything related to localization and grow in a team of seasoned professionals who are truly passionate about what they do.

Candidates might be asked to complete a short test assignment.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?
  • Act as a partner to internal teams (development, publishing, and marketing) and ensure localization of all assets related to the product.

  • Plan, organize, and monitor localization assignments on the side of localization partners and vendors, including localization QA where necessary.

  • Advise internal teams on localization processes and workflows, maintain the existing workflows and adjust them when required; actively participate in process improvement.

  • Create and update a localization roadmap if additional languages are added, and drive their launch.

  • Translate, edit, and proofread English and Russian texts in CAT tools, ensure the usage of correct terminology and cultural fit of translated texts.

  • Update and maintain glossaries and style guides applying best globalization practices; make sure that translated content matches external glossaries.

What kind of professional are we looking for?
  • 2+ years of experience in localization (game industry preferred).

  • Solid in-depth knowledge of localization and internationalization.

  • Experience using CAT tools (Crowdin, SmartCAT are an additional plus).

  • Excellent English (at least C1) and Russian proficiency.

  • Basic knowledge of version control systems.

  • Able to communicate confidently and effectively to stakeholders of all levels.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, process-oriented thinking.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the game localization life cycle process.

  • Linguistic background.

  • Knowledge of gaming terminology.

  • Flexibility and adaptability.
